It is not just a picture made up it pulled this machine daily because we had more machines than trucks. I used this truck and other pick ups to pull this and a few other machines of mine around in 2005-2006 in Miami clearing trees after Hurricane Katrina. The one in the picture is a 2003 F350 2wd with 7.3L. Eventually the clutch did go out after 4 months of this. The Timberjack machine(forwarder) weighs 14 tons. Does this pulling void the warranty? Safety first

I have heard so many stories from Us of heavy stuff they pull with ford pickups... they can for sure take a lot of beating...

Take a Ford F550 and put a 5.9 Cummins engine in it and then it would be almost perfect. The 7.3 is slow but hard to kill. Unfortunately 2003 was the last good diesel engine year for Ford.

hell, i could pull that with my diesel XJ

A 2WD F350 would be fun in the conditions we had today.. i almost spun out on the way home. Actually had to go 4WD on the highway :D

Yeah Brynjar it snowed quite a bit. Ive been up on the roof with a shovel trying to keep the roof from falling on the car. It almost collapsed

I'm just curious :eyemouth: Are you an American that has moved to Norway permanently?

Hey Holten, Yes I am an American who is going to live here permanently. I married a Norwegian woman here. I am from North Georgia Mountains in the US.
I'm working on the language. I was using google to translate in my writing but apparently it comes out really wrong. I have been here 2 months this time.
