Hello,

My name is David and I'm from Spain. I've found this nice forum thanks to knixen.

I've a '94 Toyota 4Runner 3.0TD that I've SASed altought isn't finished yet (At least it rolls). It's the first one in Spain and will be one of the 4 o 5 trucks SASed and legal in Spain.

You can see my SAS progress in this post (http://www.yotatech.com/f152/my-94-4runner-sas-130215/) in Yotatech.

I contacted knixen because I'm interested in those Icelandic fender flares. I saw them in a trip to Iceland and I got in love, but now they're a must because I've to cover my 35's, if not my truck won't be legalizable.

I've asked many Icelandic companies but never got a response, so maybe you can help me with any Skandinavic dealer or producer.

This was my truck before the SAS:

And this is now:

Hope you like it and you can help me.

Ah! Happy new year!

David

I just sent you a mail regarding the correct address to http://www.alltplast.net/

They should help you out, I guess you can get them modified the way you want them. Just don`t expect a rapid delivery;)

But the finish and the way they fit are excellent!

Hope to see some more of your truck, hook us up with some links and tech sites from Spain! :)

Happy new year back!

Best regards!

Hello again and thanks for your replies.

I've written an email to that people knixen have said me. I hope they reply...

In Spain there are not a lot of offroad enthusiasts, a lot of people thinks that we destroy the woods, polute the cities and bullshits like that. There're a lot of desert enthusiasts... We've Africa very near so a lot of people (Me included) travel to Morocco, Occ. Sahara, Mauritania, Mali, Tunisia, Lybia...

I'm building my truck to be a true all terrain... Able to go in the snowed woods, the desert, crawl... I'm trying to make it a bit "self-sufficient", want to put a shower and those kind of things hehe

There're not a lot of tech pages in Spanish, we've a forum named "4Runner Foro", obviosly is about 4Runners, but there're some mods applicable to other models. They're under the "Bricos" subforums in www.4RunnerForo.com but I suppose you'll need a translator.

Holy shit, that`s what i call a sand dune..... From what city do you take the ferry to Marocco? i think i have seen some traffic signs with a ferry on somewhere around Malaga? is it a overnight ferry or just a few hour`s trip ?

You can cross from Almerķa to Melilla (The return is Nador-Almerķa) and this is an overnight ferry. This is what I made last year, we get in the ferry at 23h and arrived Morocco at 7 o'clock. I'm not sure about the hour because Morocco don't have summer time so when I was they were 2h of difference to Spain.

You can also cross from Algeciras to Ceuta or Tanger and from Tarifa to Tanger. This is a fast ferry, I think it's 3 hours or so.

Those pics are from the Erg Chebbi, near Merzouga.

I think you may like this vid...

My friend who drives don't practice offroad and seems to want to smash down some trees but...

I really love the new exhaust sound... The turbo can be heard from the rear of the truck.
